In Praise of Gutenberg is one of Lyrian’s current projects. It is planned to create a CD on which the four Festgesange written by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy for the celebrations of the quatercentenary of the invention of printing in 1840 will be recreated, along with Lyrian’s own progressive-rock interpretations of the same songs and other music by Mendelssohn.
